The grounds are amazing with million dollar views and the hiking trails are well marked while still being drenched in local history. It is truly a special occasion you will never forget. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and the five course meal was one of the best I had ever had. I can’t recommend this place enough for a special weekend celebration. Located close to Orange and Charlottesville, the inn is a short drive to Monticello and Montpelier, as well as the multitude of Virginia attractions right around the corner, including several award-winning wineries and distilleries (Barboursville, Reynard Florence Vineyard, Horton Cellars Winery, etc.Įvery bit of this dining experience was sublime. The inn is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds are lovely and perfect for summer walks (pet-friendly, too!) With its historically significant past and its location on a hill with spectacular mountain views and breathtaking sunsets, the Inn truly exudes the essence of Virginia. The service was impeccable and the Southern-influenced chef-prepared meals were all paired with superb Virginia wines. Meticulously maintained, Meander Plantation is truly a special place that will live forever in your memory! I had the opportunity to visit the inn and stay a little while for dinner and it was hands down one of the best meals I’d ever had.
